Sunset over MacRay Harbor

Giving back is in our DNA, and no initiative illustrates this quite like Benefit on the Bay. Now in it’s 23rd year, this annual fundraiser has cumulatively raised more than $1.25 million for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, which services metro Detroit by providing food, clothing, and human development programs to the people of the community. Shelving, Inc. is proud to underwrite this exceptional event and help provide for those in need.

This year’s event will take place on Friday, August 26 and feature a wide range of entertainment, including speed painter Dave Santia, who’s paintings will be available for purchase, live music from “Key Suspects,” and a silent auction. There will also be complementary appetizers, dinner and drinks. Fox 2 anchor Jay Towers, who also serves as host of “Jay Towers in the Morning” on WNIC, will once again serve as MC of the event. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the event benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

Tickets are now available and can be purchased for $65 per person at www.benefitonthebay.org. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and can be coordinated through Mike Schodowski.
