We’d like to thank two incredible members on our team this week: Melissa (aka Mouse), our Shipping Manager, and Samantha, our Senior Project Manager! Last week Samantha was working in the Customer Service department, a position she normally does not cover, but did a tremendous job! An international customer named Lou contacted her mentioning that he was in Chicago for business and would be driving through our neck of the woods on his way home to Canada. Lou wanted to pick up his order from our store in Madison Heights, Michigan, but wasn’t able to get here before our store closed. Both Samantha and Mouse collaborated to come up with a plan to meet Lou after hours with his merchandise so he could get home quickly. Talk about excellent customer service!

Although Lou did not get into Metro Detroit until almost midnight, Mouse was happy to meet him and in turn, Lou wrote a wonderful e-mail thanking them.

Hello Samantha..

I did want to let you know Melissa did connect with me and as Late as I did get in, she kindly handed off the shelving from her vehicle to mine.

That is just incredible customer service, something I appreciate very much.

This is my third order with you guys, and in the future I will be certain to order form you again.

They earn a job whale done, a trophy our CEO hands out when members of our team go above and beyond the call of duty. Great job, ladies! We offer terrific customer service everyday, but receiving an e-mail as kind as Lou’s is something that needs to be acknowledged!
