Like many of you, cooking (and even more eating) is one of my favorite things to do. Because of my huge sweet tooth, I tend to bake more than cook, but either way I get to eat something delicious, which makes everything better. One of my favorite websites to go on for the BEST recipes would be Smitten Kitchen. I hope you have heard of her before, but if you haven’t I am deeply sorry and would highly encourage that you make one of her many delicious recipes today.¬† Another amazing website I would suggest would be It is just endless pictures of delicious looking food that links you to the recipe so you can enjoy it for yourself.

Because I have such a sweet tooth, I thought I would share a couple of delicious, summer inspired  recipes that I stumbled upon while gawking at all the mouth-watering food.

  • This first recipe is a nice twist on a classic summer dessert. Everyone knows s’mores are pretty iconic for summer time, and sitting around the campfire, roasting your marshmallow to a perfect golden brown is something that summer can’t be without. However, if you are craving the creamy, chocolatey, crunchy goodness of a s’mores but have no fire, this recipe will definitely help with that.

  • Summer is hot. After going through that heat wave, I have really come to appreciate the truly remarkable power of air conditioning and any cold desert, whether it be ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, or even a smoothie. This recipe is sure to cool you down on a hot summer day.

  • When you think of summer, what is the first food that pops into your head? For me it is watermelon. That delicious red fruit that always seems to cool me down and quench my thirst at the same time. This simple recipe would be the perfect ending to a long summer day in the sun.
